Catherine
Nursery Owner
Catherine started to work at Happy Days Nursery, a family run business in 1991 after leaving school but due to family circumstances decided to leave in 2004. In 2004 she got a job at Stoke on Trent College’s crèche in Burslem, unfortunately after working there for two years in 2006 she was made redundant. In 2006 Catherine started to work at Kingsland Children’s Centre in Bucknall and was working there as a nursery practitioner until 2008. Catherine became the owner of Happy Days Nursery (January 2013). She has over 25 years’ experience as a qualified nursery practitioner.

Paula
Manager
Paula started to work at Happy Days Nursery in 1998 and has over 21 years’ experience as a qualified nursery practitioner. Paula is a full time member of staff and is responsible for the day to day management of the nursery team, motivating them with a shared sense of direction, pride and energy. She also liaises with the nursery owner, nursery deputy, outside agencies and parents to ensure that the nursery is run at a high standard.

Claire
Deputy Manager
Claire started to work at Happy Days Nursery in 1990 and has over 30 years’ experience as a qualified nursery practitioner. Claire is a full time member of staff and is responsible for working alongside the owner and manager on a day to day basis. She is currently working in the Ladybirds Toddler Room with the 2-3 year olds. She also provides healthy meals and snacks throughout the day. Claire is the main SENCo Leader for the Nursery.

Kelly
Baby Room Lead Practitioner
Kelly started to work at Happy Days Nursery in 2014 and has over 11 years’ experience as a qualified nursery practitioner. Kelly is a full time member of staff and is responsible for the day to day running of the Caterpillar Baby Room with the 0-2 year olds.

Georgia
Early Years Practitioner
Georgia started to work at Happy Days Nursery in 2015 after leaving school. She originally started as an Early Years Practitioner Apprentice and is now a permanent full-time member of staff. She is currently working in the Ladybirds Toddler Room with the 2-3 year olds.

Christine started to work at Happy Days Nursery in 2017 as Office Administrator. She has over 40 years’ experience in various administration roles including National Admin/Stock Trainer and Office Manager in local Stoke on Trent Children’s Centres.

Jessica started working at Happy Days Nursery in July 2022 after leaving school to begin her apprenticeship within Early Years. She is currently working between the Caterpillar Baby Room with the 0-2 year olds and the Ladybirds Toddler Room with the 2-3 year olds.
